Congratulations to our raffle winner!

Congratulations to Jennifer Smith for winning our Facebook Raffle!  Jennifer received our Office Organizing Gift Basket in the mail, including an inbox tray, a desktop file bin, a pencil cup, a Freedom Filer file organization system, a business card organizer box, and two white storage boxes.  Jennifer said she plans on using her new office organizing tools as she prepares for two exciting events: she and her husband are expecting their first child in the next few weeks and they are later moving to a new home!  We wish

IO Annual Summer Party

Almost our whole team gathered last Saturday at Eastlake Bar & Grill to celebrate another year with Innovatively Organized.  Our Second Annual Summer Party was full of great people, amazing Seattle weather, and delicious food (hummus and pita bread, calamari, flourless chocolate cake!).  We had almost as many accountants in attendance as we did professional organizers, plus a handful of Virginia Tech Hokies.

Thought: Hoarding Hubby

Celebs- they’re just like us, including our tendencies to clutter the home!  Famous country singer Carrie Underwood appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last April.  While discussing her new marriage to pro hockey player Mike Fisher, Underwood let slip that her husband is sort of a hoarder!

Innovative Idea: Menu Storage

A while ago, we went to a restaurant that had the menus built into the sides of the table.  As professional organizers, we were highly impressed by their creative use of space and efficient planning!  As hungry restaurant-goers, we were pleased to find our menus so quickly!  To operate a restaurant, this idea is not only innovative and fun, it is incredibly functional.  The hosts don’t have to worry about finding rogue menus everywhere, nor do the waiters have to fuss with collecting the menus once customers have ordered.
